The San Diego Highwayman Will Get Beulah Back!

What an amazing couple of weeks it’s been for the story of the San Diego Highwayman.

With the help of so many others through the GoFundMe page, we were able to raise more than $12,000 to help Thomas in his mission to help others. To sweeten the story, a donor also came forward after hearing Thomas on the radio and watching the film about him, and volunteered to completely cover the cost of rebuilding his car from the ground up! We couldn’t be more thrilled!

To continue the good news, we also just found out that the story has been nominated for the News Photographers Association of Canada’s Annual Pictures of the Year Competition in the Team Multimedia category. The winners will be announced in Vancouver this May.

I’d like to personally thank my teammates on this project (my wife) Tammy Foster as well as Gerald Mabee who both traveled with me and worked hard to make this project happen!
